Raku is a process that takes pots, heats them up until they are red hot, then submerges them in a bed of combustible materials that ignite to create spontaneous color! During this one-day workshop students will explore their creativity and participate in hands-on Raku Firings using pre-made ceramic vessels. Each student will produce one pot, but additional vessels can be purchased for those who wish to do more. Old clothing is recommended as you will get dirty!
