Kimberly Koller-Jones

Kimberly Koller-Jones began serving as Executive Director of the Hoyt Center for the Arts in 1996.  She has seen the Hoyt through more than two decades of building renovations, program development and partnerships that have resulted in After School Arts, the Public Art Program, the Digital Media Lab and much more. Kimberly also serves as the museum’s Curator, overseeing the selection and display of exhibits, collections and the Period House, including the annual holiday décor.

An advocate for Lawrence County, Kimberly serves on the boards of the Lawrence County Regional Chamber of Commerce, New Castle Blueprint Communities Council, the PA Downtown Center and PA Humanities. She holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Seton Hill University and a Masters in Arts Administration from Goucher College. Kimberly resides in New Castle with her husband, Lou, and many pets.

Robert Presnar

Education Director

Robert Presnar has served as the Hoyt’s Education Director since 2008. His undergraduate degree is in Secondary Education, Social Studies. He has a Master’s degree in History from Slippery Rock University. In addition to planning the Hoyt’s adult and youth class semesters, he teaches the After School Arts Program and Art’s Club and is affectionately known by his students as “Mr. Bob.” He is also known as a researcher, writer, and local historian and has published various works on the area’s past.

Paige Kleinfelder

Outreach Director

Paige Kleinfelder, “Miss Paige” joined the Hoyt staff in 2017 as the Assistant Education Coordinator and has since become the Outreach Director. She oversees the Hoyt’s Kickstart program as well as teaches the Art’s Club, Creative Play workshops and painting classes. Previously, she earned her Bachelors in Studio Art from Elmira College and then served as the Education Coordinator for the Butler Art Center. Paige is also a practicing artist whose oil paintings of local signs and landmarks can be seen at the Lawrence County Courthouse.

Melissa Maiella

Marketing Director

Melissa Maiella has served as the Hoyt’s Marketing Director since 2013. She is responsible for the Hoyt’s social media and communications along with membership and events. In addition to working at the Hoyt, she also serves on the boards of Visit Lawrence County and Sense of Connection. A New Castle native, Melissa graduated from Neshannock High School and Clarion University. She currently resides in Laurel with her husband and two children.

Mary Coglio

Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Having attended events at the Hoyt with her children and husband in the past, Mary Coglio was excited when the opportunity arose in 2020 to begin working as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant at the Hoyt. She is responsible for managing the gift shop and bookkeeping for the Hoyt, as well as the point of contact for those interested in renting the facility.

Mary received a BS degree in Accounting from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA and has worked in the accounting field for over 15 years. She is married to her husband Mike and together they have two adult children, Michael and Emily. In her spare time, Mary enjoys reading, walking their pet dog Buster, spending time with family and playing bells in the church handbell choir.

Patricia McLatchy

Exhibitions Manager

Patricia McLatchy has been the Exhibition Manager at the Hoyt since 2005. She is the registrar, preparator and manages the juried competitions. She holds an MFA in Sculpture from Pennsylvania State University and has worked in various capacities at the Carnegie Museum of Art, Harvard University Art Department and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Libraries. Her checker board career has included working at Pittsburgh Artworks Foundry as a welder and fabricator and as a studio assistant for Michio Ihara, a Boston based internationally known sculptor. In her next life she dreams of becoming an Olympic pole vaulter but for now she is content encouraging artists to reach their best potential.

Johnnylynn McConnell

Receptionist

Johnnylynn joined the Hoyt staff in 2021 as our receptionist. If you’ve ever visited, you’ve probably met her working at the front desk taking class registrations, renewing memberships, selling event tickets and answering any number of questions from the public!

Cassidy Tonks-Hatch

Digital Media Specialist

Cassidy received her BFA from Clarion University. She had a variety of professional experiences ranging from photography and graphic design to marketing. She taught at McGuire Memorial as a part of their life enrichment program and Sewickley Sweet Water Center for the Arts as a photography instructor before joining the Hoyt Staff. Cassidy teaches classes & workshops in digital media and graphic design in the Hoyt’s Digital Media Lab.
